Russian Spot Shrimps are the largest of its kind and can grow lengths of up to 19 centimetres, excluding the antenna. You can recognize the shrimp by its speckled red-brown colour and white patches on its lower head and tail. Another distinguishing feature is its prominent ridge or hump on the head, compared to the Cold Water Shrimp.
Due to its size and delicate flavour, the Russian Spot Shrimp is ideal for barbecues and grilling.
